Alyssa - *she walks into the resturant in front of Ryan
and asks for a table out of the way*
Ryan_Lansing - *waits paietnly, hands in pockets, typos at the ready*
Alyssa - *Gets lead to a back table and takes a seat, setting her breifcase
down beside her*
Ryan_Lansing - *follows and sits down across from her*
Alyssa - Are you and Kerri ready to be full time parents?
Ryan_Lansing - As ready as well will ever be.*smiles good-naturedly*
Alyssa - I’m talking twentyfour hour, seven day a week, parents. Toothaches,
sickdays, school, totally supporting a child, not to mention college...
Ryan_Lansing - *nods* Yes. Of course, if you are thining Kerrie and
I will be doing this completely alone, you are mistaken. Her parents have
agreed to help out as much as they can... and mine have agreed not to disown
me. *chuckles*
Alyssa_Stonewall - What I would like is for you to wipe that stupid
smile off your face and quit gloating.
Alyssa_Stonewall - Are the two of you married yet?
Ryan_Lansing - *blinks, she seems to have an odd sence of gloating*
Not yet. We are taking our time.
Alyssa_Stonewall - *sighs* And Kerrie can’t have children because....
Ryan_Lansing - *blinks again* Because?
Alyssa_Stonewall - Well I expected it to be something like that, you
wanting Dove for your baby because she can’t have children.
Ryan_Lansing - Well, no. I asked for equal custody between you and
Stonewall, and Kerrie and myself.
Ryan_Lansing - Dove both my child and yours. I would not want to take
your right as the mother away from you.
Alyssa_Stonewall - I was told that was not going to happen, the choices
given to me were that you have to give up your fatherhood rights and I
get Dove, we both keep bickering and my Unlce raises her, or I have to
give her up to you and Kerri.
Ryan_Lansing - Who gave you this choice?
Alyssa_Stonewall - Jimmy did, this is family buisness now.
Ryan_Lansing - *pauses* I will want to talk to Jimmy myself, then discuss
this with Kerrie.
Alyssa_Stonewall - This is already killing me Ryan, I brought you here
today to finally get this over with. I want my daughter more than life
itself and I want to know what it will take to get you to give her to me
and Howls. I am not saying you will never see her all I am asking is that
you give up your rights to her as a member of the family and let me take
her home, to a family that may never have children again.
Ryan_Lansing - We will get this over with. Tonight then. *pulls out
his cell phone and dials for Jimmy*
Alyssa_Stonewall - *lies back in her seat and pulls out her laptop
starting to pull up all the stocks and liquid assests she has*
Singha - *answers* Cricket here.
Ryan_Lansing - Hey Jimmy it’s Ryan. I was curious about something?
Singha - Yeah, shoot, kid...I’m kinda busy.
Ryan_Lansing - Well, I was just wondering if it is at all possible
for Alyssa and I to share custody rights?
Singha - *sighs* I explained all this to Stoney. I wish you guys would
get this shit straight, and not bother me with it. I got a frikken city
to save.
Alyssa_Stonewall - *she taps her fingernails on the tabletop waiting
for Ryan*
Ryan_Lansing - Well, I apologize but I seem to be out of the information
loop as it were.
Singha - I told Stoney on account of his deformity that the tribe ain’t
gonna feel all happy and shiney about him taking over your kid unless you
give it over freely, or unless a philodox hears the case and makes a ruling.
If you and her wanna make a deal and it’s approved by the philo, that’s
all good.
Alyssa_Stonewall - *mutters something about how Ryan should never be
out of the loop and looks back down at her display*
Ryan_Lansing - Allright. Do you know a good one I can arrage to meet
us, preferably tonight? I want to put the least amount upon Alyssa as possible,
and you as well.
Singha - I told Stoney he should talk to Marcus James...that’s who
the kid Marcus was named after...he’s gonna wanta pick the best thing for
the kids...he’s good guy from what I understand.
Ryan_Lansing - *nods to himself* Do you have his phone number handy
by any chance?
Singha - Uh...no *sound of gunshot in not so distant background* Look,
call the office, they got it there. Or look him up in the phone *BOOM!*
book. James and James....
Singha - ...law offices. *distant boom...squeal of tires. Sound of
running.* Gotta go.
Ryan_Lansing - I gotcha. Thanks man. *hangs up* *calls the office and
gets the number, then dials for Marcus*
Alyssa_Stonewall - *orders a glass of wine from the waiter*
Ryan_Lansing - *gets nothing* Hrm... *frowns* Well.. maybe not tonight.
It is possible that we can still work something out. ... If you are willing
to agree to equal rights for both of us.
Alyssa_Stonewall - I’m willing to do anything right now that brings
her back here, good Gaia Ryan what do you think I am doing here tonight?
Ryan_Lansing - Honestly, I had no idea at all. Last time I knew you
hated me.
Alyssa_Stonewall - Hate is a strong word, I’m annoyed by you mostly.
Ryan_Lansing - Well, I suppose you have a right to. *orders some tea*
Alyssa_Stonewall - *taps her fingers on the table again* The problem
is that you have no idea why Ryan.
Ryan_Lansing - And I would like to know, but you won’t tell me. Granted...
I probably wasn’t ready a few months ago, but I belive I am now.
Alyssa_Stonewall - *she looks at him critically then accepts the glass
of wine letting the waiter go away again before continuing* It’s
because you have been given a gift that I would have given anything to
have yet you seem to spit on it.
Alyssa_Stonewall - Also you call me a liar when I never lied to you.
Ryan_Lansing - *paues* Do you mean my talent to Digivolve? *thinks
about the lieng bit* ... Actually, I dn’t remember that. But then again,
a lot of what happened between the two of us is a blur.
Alyssa_Stonewall - If I could be like you I would have learned what
it means to be part of the family along time ago. I tried to teach you
but you wouldn’t listen to me.
Ryan_Lansing - There was probably a lot of things you tried to teach
me, and probably a lot of things I tried to teach you, and we both failed
each other. We kinda are a nice clusterfudge.
Alyssa_Stonewall - *she shakes her head* This is the importaint stuff
though...information, networking, and always knowing what is going on.
Those should be your meat and bone.
Ryan_Lansing - *paues* Maybe. Maybe not. You see, I’m not the greatest
in that sort of thing... I really am not. I tend to do well in visions,
spirits, and helping people. That is my meat and bone. However, I can always
use a little seasoning,
Alyssa_Stonewall - *shakes her head and takes another sip of the wine*
Then why be part of the family, why not go be with a group that is more
like you?
Ryan_Lansing - I am a part of the family. I just might be in a diffrent
branch.
Alyssa_Stonewall - I never heard of a brach that went against our natures
so much.
Ryan_Lansing - Our family is one that lives in the city. Pure and simple.
And the city takes a lot of diffrent kinds of people to make it work.
