Marcus James - "Marcus." He laughs softly again, shaking his
head. "I need to know, for my records,exactly what the two of you want.
And by exactly, I mean details. If you, Ryan, want joint custody. I need
to know what method of visitation you plan on enforcing. And if you, Alyssa,
want sole custody, I need to know if you even plan on allowing visitation
rites upon Ryan."
Alyssa_Stonewall - He can visit Dove, I don’t mind that.
Ryan_Lansing - Im flexible with joint custody, however you want to
work it will be fine with me, as long as we both get equal custody

Marcus James - "And Marcus...?"
Alyssa_Stonewall - If he would like to, he wasn’t so hot on that before
he was killed.
Ryan_Lansing - *Ryan laughs softely* Well, concidering that I’m the
main one responcible getting him back, I think I would like to see him.
Ryan_Lansing - *Especially since you didn’t want me to see him much
before*
Alyssa_Stonewall - He’s not back yet and last I heard that task was
Stonewalls.
Marcus James - Marcus grows silent as he watches the two of them discuss
this.
Ryan_Lansing - To quote the Albion Spirit of Judgement: Owlchaser,

Ryan_Lansing - He also told Stonewall he shouldn’t claim children that
are not his own.
Marcus James - (Nods to Brad...?)
Alyssa_Stonewall - And the body is at the feet of the temple of the
White Dog which Stonewall must go get and bring back before Marcus’ spirit
can be broght back.
Ryan_Lansing - Yes and I belive I know where that Temple is. ((Oops
meant to edit that part out about nodding to Brad))
Alyssa_Stonewall - And I told you not to take back children you never
wanted just because a spirit tells you to.
Ryan_Lansing - I never did that. The spirit told me to wtach over them,
and told me that they were mine, which you never did, and even put them
in Stonewall’s name and not mine without even telling me they were mine
so I could even form feelinds about it. But the reson why I want to be
the children’s father is because I love them and I want to be their father,
and that I am their father. And you are their mother, so i want you to
have custody as well, that we may be equal in this, because Marcus and
Dove are both ours. Not just mine, and not just yours.
Alyssa_Stonewall - I told you they were yours, I remember it, Syrine
remembers it, Howls remembers it but you don’t. I was sick in the hospital
when I told you and you still insist on calling me a liar. I gave them
Howls’ name because you had made it blatenly clear you did not want children
and only to be Uncle Ryan. I reached out to you many times but you only
saw fit to slam the door in my face Ryan and Howls was the one that loved
these children from the time he knew me till now.
Marcus James - Marcus listens quietly. Tapping his mech-pencil on the
desk as the... debate begins to heat up.
Ryan_Lansing - You are right, I do not remember that scene at all.
I do know you told me that children were his. *nods to marcus* I assume
because I had old you that I didn’t think I was ready to have children.
And at that time I wasn’t, but fate decoided that it was our time to be
parents, and I am stepping up to that. But the fact remains that Iam their
father and I wnat to be their father. And everytime you come to me, you
only speak down to me and tell me how unfitting I am, and that I’m no,
Stonewall, no Marcus, no one worth note in you heart. And I have accpeted
that. I cannot change the way you feel about me, and I regret that. But
I’m not going to let our children suffer for it.
Alyssa - I told you it was either yours or Marcus’ I never lied to
you Ryan and I am sick of you accusing me of it.
Alyssa - I came to you for help Ryan and you pushed me away over and
over again. I couldn’t take being hurt like that so I gave up.
Marcus James - "Alright. That’s enough. If you two want a discussion
this heated it needs to take place out of my office."
Ryan_Lansing - You said they were Marcus’s. And you have lied many
times to me Alyssa. But I’m sure you had your reasons why, and I respect
that.
Alyssa - *dummies up and looks down at her shoes counting to ten mentally*
Ryan_Lansing - *Ryan nods and his moth stays closed*
Marcus James - He frowns as his name is brought into it and states
rather firmly at that. ’Let it be known, that they are not my children,
and that my judgement will not be swayed in ~either~ direction because
of any personal involvement I might have had in this case.’
Ryan_Lansing - 8Ryan nods*
Alyssa - *she hears Marcus but had expected no different although part
of her expects him to side with Ryan and see her as unfit considering her
jaded past*
Marcus - As if reading her thoughts, Marcus looks to Alyssa and speaks
in a far more friendly tone than his previous Philadox-esque statement.
"I want you to realize, that my decision will be swayed by your past as
a marker of your ability to be a mother, Alyssa. You and I are friends,
but it’s important that I make a fair decision." He looks to Ryan. "And
I want you to realize that my decision will be swayed by the fact that
you are Garou and she is Kin. Kin are the rightful parents in our society,
we, along with our Rage make dangerous guardians of children."
Ryan_Lansing - *Ryan nods, but doesn’t add that Stonewall is Garou
and that he has a Garou kin mate as well*
Alyssa - *she nods softly to Marcus* I have already planed out everything
they will need in life. Their sister Waris will be home soon and also is
looking forward to meeting them both, I have trust funds for all three
and am in the market for a new home for the family to move into.
Marcus James - "Do either of you have any more to add before I decide...?"
Alyssa - *she shakes her head* I’ll just wind up in a fight.
Ryan_Lansing - *pauses and to be safe he adds* I do have a mate that
is kin as well, so it wouldn’t be just me taking care of the children when
they would be at my residence.
Marcus James - "Who is your mate, Ryan..?"
Alyssa - *bites her tounge and fumes in private over Ryan’s words*
Ryan_Lansing - Kerrie McMasters.
Ryan_Lansing - And her has also been able to makeplans for the children,
we are planing tomove into a larger aparment where we will have room to
take care of them.
Marcus James - He nods as he listens and begins writing in his folder
without further comment.
Marcus James - He looks up finally, putting the folder away. "I’m going
to have my secretary make copies of my documents and have them sent to
your mailing addresses..."
Alyssa - *she waits till she’s calmer and looks up to Marcus* I don’t
think that women who try to walk out infront of moving vehicals are fit
mothers, furthermore I am Stonewall’s wife, I am his lover, I am not his
mate. He cannot have children, we cannot have children together and you
never saw the absoulte joy in his eyes when he thought that he was going
to be a father. You never saw how he loved these children from the moment
he first saw them. *fighting to hold back tears* You never saw the pain
he went thru when he found out that Ryan was their blood father and he
was scared he would loose them.
Alyssa - *she gets up already feeling like she’s lost and just waits*
Ryan_Lansing - *always thought mate was a life-long compainon, but
okay then*
Marcus James - "I’m granting joint custody in Alyssa’s favor." He looks
between the both of them. "What that means is that while you have joint
custody, Alyssa will be the charge of the children more often than you,
Ryan. You will have weekends, and she will have weekdays, how ou decide
between transport and such is your own decision." He pauses a moment, rubbing
his forehead. "In order to make this decision valid, though. I request
that you begin speaking to a psychologist about medication Alyssa. If only
to calm your nerves. Also, I’m writing this up in the name of Alyssa Vargrasso.
Because of the spirits warning, I don’t think it would be wise to give
the children to Stonewall, not even if it is merely his name. I have no
bias against him either, he and I are friends. Understand that this judgement
is made clearly out of logic and the best decisions for you, the children
and our family."
Ryan_Lansing - *Ryan nods* That is fine.
in.Alyssa - *sighs, again with this shrink stuff even after the year
she spent away*
Alyssa - I’ve spoken with Brad Tellinar, he thinks I’m sainer then
I have ever been. He knows it’s just certain people that get under my skin.
Marcus James - Marcus nods to Alyssa with a gentle smile. "Alyssa,
you know we’re friends... I wouldn’t be ordering that as part of the agreement
just to do it. I don’t necessarily want you to go to a therapist, just
someone who could get you some vikaden(sp) or codeine. I think it might
help a lot."
Alyssa - I just spent a year in a tribal village where I had to face
my fears, destroy that which I feared most, save Gaia’s life, shapeshift
into a lioness to drive away darkness, help my daughter thru her first
change, and walk away blooded in my own right. Justice has set me fit to
be mother to Waris and I have healed scars left by Syntax, Alex, and Peirce.
Alyssa - Dr. Tellinar said I don’t need drugs, just some peace for
a little while.
Marcus James - "Raising children isn’t exactly peaceful. Neither is
the lives we lead. Alyssa. It’s part of the deal."
Alyssa - *she grins* It’s alot more peaceful than saving the world
every other day and I have never known a time in my life that I have felt
more comlplete and in total bliss then when I was with my children.
Ryan_Lansing - *hrjust listens*
Marcus James - Marcus nods gently to that, but remains quiet.
Alyssa - *she shrugs supposing that being the Heart Song of Gaia probably
isn’t going to make a difference, she accually can’t be on drugs because
of her duty*
Marcus James - "I just want you to talk to a psychologist. If they
say you’re fine, then you’re fine..."
Alyssa - *she nods* I’ll talk to Brad again.
Marcus James - "I just need signed documents."
Alyssa - Alright.
Ryan Lansing - *nods* Allright
Marcus James - "That’s all then." He smiles, closing his folder and
putting it away. "You can expect copies of the documents in three or four
days." He stands.
Alyssa - *she nods picking up her breifcase and mumbling a soft* Thank
you Marcus. *before heading to the door*
Ryan Lansing - Yes, thank you Marcus. *holds out his hand to shake*
Marcus James - He glances after Alyssa a moment before nodding and
shaking Ryan’s hand in a tired manner. Still firm, but it’s obvious he
needs a heavy amount of sleep. "once again, it was good to meet you, Ryan."
Ryan Lansing - You too. *he sighs slightly relived.* I’m glad that
I could at least slpit the custody some... I didn’t want to take the children
away from Alyssa... I just don’t think that’s right.
Alyssa - *she heads out of the office hoping that they will talk to
give her more time to get away from Ryan*
